At that time, they raised various slogans against Sheikh Hasina and Awami League leaders.
On the ground, it was seen that several hundred angry students and the public gathered in front of the Awami League office around 4 pm. After vandalizing the place for an hour, they left.
Then, the house of the late district Awami League president Fazlur Rahman Faruk in Thanapara was demolished with an excavator. The house was later set on fire.
