As part of the central program of the Chhatra Dal, a 'March for Justice' program was held in Nilphamari to demand justice and punishment for the terrorist activities of Chhatra League in educational institutions during the Sheikh Hasina era. The program was held in front of the main gate of the Nilphamari Government College Chhatra Dal on Thursday (February 6) afternoon.
District Chhatra Dal President Maruf Parvez Prince, General Secretary Mozammel Haque Mozam, Sadar Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Aslam Parvez Bidyut etc. delivered speeches. College branch Chhatra Dal Convener (acting) Raju Parvez presided over the welcoming speech and Member Secretary Payluzzaman Roxy delivered the welcome speech.
The speakers said that during the reign of dictator Sheikh Hasina, Chhatra League terrorists abused political power and tortured students. Their terrorist activities created panic in the educational institutions. A fair trial for these activities and punishment of Chhatra League terrorists must be ensured so that such incidents do not happen again in the educational institutions in the future.
At that time, joint conveners of the college branch of Chhatra Dal, Firoz Ahmed Saikat and Raisul Islam Rana, along with many others, were present. As part of the program, the leaders and activists presented autographs to Professor Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan, Principal of Nilphamari Government College.
