A fake poet named Baby Khatun is embezzling millions of taka in the name of providing medical treatment by appearing to a jinn in Shahjadpur, Sirajganj.
A fake poet named Baby Khatun has opened such a hideout in Charnarua village of Habibullah Nagar Union of the upazila. He treats various diseases. He also performs tumor operations, although he does not have any institutional certificate. He sees patients three days a week, presents jinn to treat them and performs tumor operations. In this way, he is deceiving people and embezzling lakhs of taka. If anyone tries to protest, the fake poet has a greedy army to prevent them. If they try to protest, they have to be attacked. When journalists go to collect information, journalists are also attacked. They are prevented from recording videos. Even though he has been deceiving people for years in the name of presenting jinn to provide treatment, no legal action has been taken against him. That is why, conscious circles believe that he is becoming so reckless with the power of raw money. Several people who do not want to be named said that Baby Khatun has been spreading such a web of fraud with the common people for a long time in the name of presenting jinn to provide treatment.
Every day, hundreds of people come to the fake poet Baby Khatun. He is deceiving millions of taka in the name of providing treatment by presenting a jinn. He has his own gang of thieves to prevent anyone from cheating against his activities. Many people do not dare to speak out for fear of being attacked if they protest. They demand that he be arrested immediately and brought under the law. In this regard, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Kamruzzaman said, "I have heard that if something like this happens, legal action will be taken."
