Charbhadrasan Upazila Administration, at the initiative of the Fisheries Department, has fined Nishat Farabi, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Charbhadrasan Upazila, in a mobile court for selling jhatka hilsa.
On Wednesday, February 8, from 8:30-9:30 am, the Upazila Administration and Fisheries Department conducted a drive and mobile court at Amir's Bridge Bazar, where 10 kg of Jatka Hilsa was seized and a fine of 10,000 taka was imposed. Upazila Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate; Nishat Farabi, and Upazila Fisheries Officer Naeem Hossain Biplob conducted a mobile court. Reshma was also present, along with Khetra Sarkar, Naeem Molla, and Charbhadrasan Police Station's Sangeet Sos. District Fisheries Officer Prashant Kumar Sarkar and newly joined Charbhadrasan Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rahima Khatun were under the direction of the mobile court drive for the free sale of Jatka Hilsa at Charbhadrasan Hat Bazar. The seized Jhatka Hilsa fish was distributed to two boarding madrasas, Dangi Medinatul Uloom and Hajidangi Orphanage Madrasa in Baddullah Matubbar.
