Sirajul Islam Mamun, son of Haji Nur Mia, former chairman of Boaluzur Union in Balaganj Upazila of Sylhet, has been appointed as the new organizing secretary of the UK Jubo Dal. A 101-member full-fledged committee of the UK branch of the Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal was approved with him as the organizing secretary.
Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee President Afzal Hossain and General Secretary Babar Chowdhury approved the committee by appointing Organizing Secretary Sirajul Islam Mamun as the Organizing Secretary.
This information was confirmed in a press release signed by Minhajul Islam Bhuiyan, Joint Secretary of the Jubo Dal's Central Executive Committee, this afternoon.
When asked about this, Mamun Islam told reporters that he is grateful to the central leaders for giving him the important responsibility of organizing secretary of the UK Jubo Dal.
He expressed special gratitude to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayon.
