The election of the 'Executive Committee-2025' of the Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUBST) Press Club has been held. Daily Kalbela's Zahidul Islam has been elected as the president and Pratidin Bangladesh's Nazmul Huda Shithil has been elected as the general secretary.
The polling was held at the PABIPROBI Press Club office from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Wednesday (February 5). Then, at 2 pm, Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Mir Humayun Kabir announced the final results of the election. At that time, Election Commissioners Dr. Md. Rashedul Haque and Mohd. Ghalib Hasan were present.
The other elected members of the seven-member committee are Office Secretary Emran Hossain Tanim (Jago News, Daily Statement), Treasurer Alfi Sunny (Daily Sabuj Bangla, Daily Bangladesh), Publicity and Publication Secretary Mojahid Hossain (Daily Campus, Daily Sinsa). In addition, Mikail Hossain (Daily Naya Diganta) and Sajjadul Islam (Daily Inqilab) have been elected as executive members.
