Md. Ashiqur Rahman Prince was elected as the president and Meherunnesa Chowdhury as the general secretary of the new committee formed on February 4.
Other important positions of the newly elected committee include Rawnak Tabassum, Rafia Tabassum and Tasnimul Hasan Rafid as vice-presidents. Rafe Muaz Ridwan Sinam has been elected as treasurer. Md. Tanvir Hossain has been elected as organizing secretary, Md. Rakib Uddin as joint-general secretary, Al Aksha Khanam as research and publication secretary, and Ahmed Rabiul Zisan as media and public relations secretary. Kazi Waziullah Iqra and Al Bashar Mohammad Bidhan were elected as Assistant General Secretaries, Rohan Mustakim and Tanmoy Chakraborty as Assistant Treasurers, Sheikh Ohi Kabir, Sadi Mohammad Sayem and Ahmed Muktafi Rohan as Assistant Organizing Secretaries, Sujana Sayeed Anamika Godhuli, Sadia Sultana Ria and Hiya Moni Roy as Assistant Research and Publication Secretaries, and Mostaq Ahmed, Poonam Priyam Naina and Israt Jahan Oishee were elected as Assistant Media and Public Relations Secretaries.
Expressing his feelings, newly elected president Ashikur Rahman Prince said, "We will work together to organize seminars and workshops to enhance mooting, research and argumentation skills, so that students can participate in competitive events with confidence. Organizing various career-related seminars and workshops so that students can improve their research skills, argumentation skills and become more confident."
Also, General Secretary Meherunnesa Chowdhury said, "As the General Secretary of Maritime University Law and Moot Court Society, I am working to make law students confident and skilled. Our goal is to provide an effective platform for students to research, argue, and enhance their legal skills. Srikanth, I want to work with my team to elevate our events to international standards and make arrangements so that our students can bring better results in international competitions."
