At 9 pm, when Hasina will deliver her speech, videos, pictures and documentaries of the July Uprising will be broadcast at every intersection and market in Dhaka city.
Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who was ousted in a mass uprising, is expected to address the student community tonight (February 5). Her speech has sparked intense debate. Meanwhile, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has announced a program to protest the speech.
A post on the verified Facebook page of the anti-discrimination student movement organization said, "Hasina is addressing the student community even after the massacre of students in Bangladesh! This is an expression of extreme shamelessness."
The organization has also informed that when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gives her speech in Delhi, an exhibition commemorating the 'July Massacre' will be organized at every important intersection in the capital. At the same time, a call has been made to broadcast the video of the massacre in every market, haat and important public gathering place in the country.
Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, said in her personal Facebook post, “Giving Hasina the opportunity to speak means declaring war on India against the people of Bangladesh.”
