Applications have been invited from those seeking admission to the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, Dhaka University, for the 2023-24 academic year in the regular Master's program.
Students who have completed a four-year Bachelor's (Honours) degree in any subject from a university approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) can apply. However, the minimum CGPA in the Bachelor's (Honours) examination should be 3.25/Second Division 55% marks on a 4.00 scale and the total GPA in the Secondary/equivalent and Higher Secondary/equivalent examinations should be 6.50. The minimum GPA in the Secondary/Higher Secondary examinations should be 3.00/Second Division.
It further states that candidates with studies or 3 years of experience in performing arts including theater/music/dance/recitation/fine arts/audio-visual can apply. Masters degree holders can also apply. There is no requirement of age and academic year of the candidate for admission. Interested candidates have to collect and submit the prescribed admission application form by 15 March 2025.
