He spoke to a media outlet in the country about the formation of a new political party on the initiative of students. There, he said that the party will debut between February 15 and 28. But Nahid said that the name of the party has not been finalized yet.
It was rumored that someone from the student advisors could resign from the advisory post and take over the reins of this party. In this regard, Nahid said that they have not made a final decision to resign from the advisory council. Now they are trying to understand where their role will be the most - inside the government, outside or in the field.
Regarding the need to form a political party, Nahid said, "After August 5, various political parties have become active under their own banners. Their workers have gone under their own banners. But even those who do not have a party have a kind of political desire. They also want to play a role in leadership or state formation. A political party has become necessary to consolidate this power. There was such a discussion since last August-September. At that time, we thought it was necessary to consolidate the government by bringing together the political parties."
He further said, 'We came to the government as representatives of the mass uprising. We have some commitments. We had a plan to implement them and leave the government. We now have to reconsider that issue.'
