Bashemurbiprabi Representative:
A cleanliness drive was conducted by the Student Counseling and Guidance Office at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Gopalganj.
Today, Tuesday (February 4) at 9:30 am, all kinds of garbage were cleaned by the general students from the main gate of the university to the administrative building and the academic building. During this time, student advisors and students warned the businessmen of various shops located on the campus not to throw garbage anywhere.
Mehedi Hasan Akash, a student of the Department of International Relations and an active participant in the cleanliness drive, said, "Keeping the campus clean regularly is a very good initiative. If dustbins are placed at different places on the campus, everyone will be able to put their waste in a specific place. He also said that initiatives should be taken to make all students aware so that a culture of putting garbage in dustbins is created."
The student counsellor and student advisor encouraged everyone, saying, "All the help you need will be provided. If you want to plant trees, that will also be provided." He suggested that you plant several trees in front of the administrative building so that you can sit and chat somewhere after entering the campus. Also, you often have picnics here and there, and you can see garbage and packets left there. Therefore, if you have a picnic at a specific place and throw the garbage in the dustbin, the campus environment will be good. For this reason, he assured that sufficient dustbins will be placed on the campus."
In addition, to maintain the overall cleanliness of the campus, it was decided to divide the campus into 13 zones and 13 groups.
