Md. Mizanur Rahman Miru of Singair Upazila of Manikganj has been appointed as the Organizing Secretary of the Jatiya Party Central Committee. On February 2, Jatiya Party Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader appointed him as the Organizing Secretary under the powers granted by the Jatiya Party constitution.
Md. Mizanur Rahman Miru is a stalwart leader of the Jatiya Party who emerged from student politics. Earlier, he served as the successful General Secretary of the Jatiya Chhatra Samaj Central Committee. He also served as the Joint Student Affairs Secretary and Education Affairs Secretary of the Jatiya Party Central Committee. He is the son of a respectable family of Charrajnagar (Munsidangi) village of Jamirtta Union in Singair Upazila.
Mizanur Rahman Miru said, "I started the politics of the Jatiya Chhatra Samaj inspired by the ideals of the founding chairman of the Jatiya Party, the late President Alhaj Hussain Muhammad Ershad. I try to play a role in the organizational activities of the party. I hope that I can properly fulfill the responsibility that the chairman sir has entrusted me with. I will work to make the Jatiya Party more active and well-organized organizationally."
