A special welfare meeting was held to mark the departure of Muhammad Abul Bashar: Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) of Mymensingh due to promotion.
Last (Sunday) at 10:00 am, a monthly welfare meeting was held at the Shaheed Bir Muktijoddha Police Superintendent Munshi Kabir Uddin Ahmed Multipurpose Shed (Welfare Shed) of the Police Lines of Mymensingh District under the chairmanship of Honorable Police Superintendent Kazi Akhtar ul Alam, the guardian of the District Police. The Holy Quran was recited at the beginning of the welfare meeting. On the other hand, the Honorable Police Superintendent handed over crests and commemorative plaques to 11 police members who were going to PRL. Then, commemorative plaques and financial awards were given to members of various units and levels of the District Police on the basis of various operational successes and various activities undertaken to maintain law and order in the month of December-2024. The awardees are- 1. MM Mohaimenur Rashid-PPM, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Mymensingh (Special award given by the Superintendent of Police in overall work evaluation). 2. Best Circle Officer-Afroza Nazneen, Additional Superintendent of Police, Gafargaon Circle, Mymensingh. 3. Best SI-SI (Retd)/Md. Saiful Islam, Muktagachha Police Station, Mymensingh. 4. Best ASI-ASI (Retd)/Farhad Uddin, Kotwali Model Police Station, Mymensingh.
5. Best Case Disposal Officer (Jointly): SI (Retd)/ Ratan Chandra Nag, Muktagachha Police Station, Mymensingh. SI (Retd)/ Taijul Islam, Gafargaon Police Station, Mymensingh. 6. Best Warrant Processing Officer-SI (Retd)/ Abdul Barek, Bhaluka Model Police Station, Mymensingh. 7. Highest Prosecution Filing Officer-TSI/ Md. Nuruzzaman, Sadar Traffic, Mymensingh.
In addition, the Honorable Superintendent of Police presented special honors in recognition of good work including the recovery of weapons and drugs, and unraveling the mystery of the clueless case. In the second part of the special welfare meeting, a farewell reception was given to the Honorable Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) of Mymensingh District, Md. Raihanul Islam, on the occasion of his promotion to the post of Police Superintendent. This unpretentious yet sincere event was attended by Superintendent of Police Kazi Akhtar ul Alam, senior officers of Mymensingh District Police, officers of all police stations and officers of various levels of Mymensingh District Police. During the farewell, the Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to every member of Mymensingh District Police.
