An 11-year-old girl went missing from Mohammadpur after coming to Dhaka for her mother's lung cancer treatment. She went missing from the Krishi Market area around 6 pm on Monday (February 2). She was later rescued by police from Naogaon.

It is learned that the name of the missing girl is Arabi Islam Suba. She came to Dhaka from Barisal with her family for her mother's treatment. Suba is a sixth-grade student of a school in Barisal. Suba's mother initially started treatment at a private hospital in Gulshan, so her family started living in a house in the Mohakhali area. Recently, she started chemotherapy at the National Cancer Research Institute and Hospital. That is why Suba's mother took Suba to a relative's house near the agricultural market in Mohammadpur four days ago.
Meanwhile, Suba left home with a younger cousin around 6 pm on Sunday. While crossing the road in the Prince Bazar area of the Krishi Market area, her cousin ran over a car. After that, Suba did not reach home. Later, the family members immediately searched the surroundings but could not find her. Later, they filed a general diary (GD) at Mohammadpur police station.
