In the seven months from July to January of the current 2024-25 fiscal year, garment exports increased by 12 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. In these seven months, Bangladesh exported garments worth $23.55 billion.
In January alone, export earnings increased by 5.7 percent to $28.97 billion, compared to $25.94 billion in the same period last year.
This information was revealed in a report by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) on Monday (February 3).
According to the report, total export earnings from July to January of the current fiscal year grew by 11.68 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
