A housewife named Majida Khatun (32) committed suicide by hanging herself in Paikgachha.
On Monday, at around 2 pm, Majida committed suicide by hanging herself from the roof of her house in Devduar village of Chandkhali union of the upazila. Majida is the wife of Sheikh Shahidul of that village. According to local and police sources, Majida was mentally unstable. SI Amit Debnath told reporters,
The body is currently at the victim's home. After the post-mortem report, the body will be sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital for an autopsy on Tuesday.
