The chief advisor's press wing has said that anyone distributing leaflets or attending any program in the name of Awami League will be arrested.
Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, made this statement at a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy on Monday afternoon.
He said, "The supporters of the fallen dictatorship are trying to do a lot of things. They are distributing leaflets."
"A strong message to those who distribute leaflets, they will be arrested. The leaflets contain statements that threaten to disrupt the law and order situation," he said.
The press secretary further said, 'They (Awami League) are spreading disinformation online. They are spreading false information about this government. The Prime Minister is calling it a degenerate dictatorship.'
He said, "We are looking into these. Our strong message is that those who distribute these leaflets, go to such programs, will be arrested and brought to justice."
Shafiqul Alam also said, "The chief advisor has ordered to reduce extortion, so that the prices of goods during Ramadan remain affordable. We are working on these."
