Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Khoda Baksh Chowdhury, Home Secretary Nasimul Gani, and heads of the Police, BGB, RAB, DMP, Coast Guard and Special Branches were present at the meeting.
The chief advisor also said, 'Security agencies must make maximum use of the latest communication equipment to deal with any situation quickly.'
"We need to establish a command center or a command headquarters that will coordinate between the police and all security agencies," he said.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, 'The new command structure will establish "efficient and close" communication between all agencies, police stations and all law enforcement authorities in the country.'
He instructed security chiefs to be vigilant against any attempt to disrupt the law and order situation in the country.
The chief advisor said, "We have to be as alert as in a war situation. This year is very important for the country. No one should be allowed to create chaos and anarchy."
"The associates of the deposed dictator Sheikh Hasina are spending huge amounts of money to incite chaos and spread confusion," he said. "We must be vigilant. Everyone should fight against this misleading information."
The chief advisor also directed security chiefs to take special measures to protect the human rights of every citizen and prevent any attacks on religious or ethnic minorities.
"If we cannot protect religious minorities, our image globally will be severely damaged. We need to be very transparent about this," he said.
He ordered strict action against extortionists to keep the prices of food and essential commodities stable during the holy month of Ramadan.
At the time, Inspector General of Police Baharul Alam said, "The police have formed 10 teams to monitor the murder cases filed in connection with the atrocities and killings committed by Hasina's security forces in July-August."
The Chief Advisor has directed the police to expedite the trial of these cases and ensure that no innocent people are harassed in these cases.
Police Chief Baharul Alam said, "Bangladesh has requested Interpol to issue a red notice against Sheikh Hasina, who fled to India in the face of a mass uprising. I hope to receive their response soon."
DMM Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjad Ali said, "The incidents of robbery in the capital have decreased after the police strengthened security. Our efforts will continue."
