Muhammad Abul Bashar: RAB-14 has arrested 2 drug dealers along with 980 pieces of narcotics injection from the Rahmatpur Bypass area under Kotwali Police Station in Mymensingh. On the morning of February 3 (Monday), an operational team of RAB-14 Mymensingh conducted a check post on the paved road in front of a shop called 'Imam Library' on the north side of the Muktagachha-bound highway adjacent to the Rahmatpur Bypass intersection under Kotwali Police Station. Meanwhile, Md. Golam Rabbani (30), father-Md. Billal Hossain, Md. Milan Hossain (32), father-Md. Dulal Hossain, both of Sang-Uttar Gopalpur, Thana-Panchbibi, District-Joypurhat, arrested 980 pieces of narcotics (Buprenorphine Injection) and 3 mobile phones. The estimated value of the recovered injections is 1,96,000 taka. RAB's campaign against social evils like drugs will continue.
A case has been filed against the arrested accused in this regard at the Mymensingh Kotwali Police Station and the accused and evidence have been handed over. Jewel Chakma, Additional Police Super Media Officer, informed on behalf of the commander.
