Osmaninagar Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations held a protest march and meeting in Osmaninagar, Sylhet, to protest the anarchy and terrorist activities of the banned organization Chhatra League.
(03 February) This Monday afternoon, the protest procession circled the important road at Tajpur Bazar on the Sylhet-Dhaka highway.
A road meeting was held in Tajpur Bazar of the upazila.
The protest meeting was addressed by Osmaninagar Upazila BNP President and Dayamir UP Chairman STM Fakhr Uddin, General Secretary Abdullah Misbah, Organizing Secretary Raihan Ahmed, Abdul Jamir, Co-Organizing Secretary Kabir Ahmed, Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Fazal Ahmed Joni, District Jubo Dal Office Secretary Redowan Ahmed, Upazila BNP Office Secretary Imad Uddin Lilu, Sylhet District Chhatra Dal Deputy General Secretary Mahbub Ahmed Rumon, Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Secretary Nurul Islam Rejan, Upazila Sechchhasebak Dal Convener Rakib Ali, Joint Convener Loylus Mia, Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Juyeb Ahmed, Senior Joint Convener Al-Mashum Abir, etc. Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliate organizations participated in the protest.
Speakers at the rally said that the terrorist activities and anarchy of the banned organization Chhatra League are increasing day by day in the darkness of the night. They are harming democracy by attacking ordinary students and political opponents. They demanded that the local administration and law enforcement agencies immediately stop these evil activities of Chhatra League.
