The BNP central committee has announced a six-member partial convening committee for the District Nationalist Party (BNP) in Satkhira. Rahmatullah Palash has been made the convener and Abu Zahid Dablu the member secretary.
This was announced in a press release signed by Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), on Sunday (February 2) night.
The existing convening committee led by long-time convener of the District Nationalist Party-BNP in Satkhira, Adv. Syed Iftekhar Ali, and member secretary UP chairman Md. Abdul Alim, was dissolved.
Earlier on the same day, on Sunday afternoon, the party's Khulna divisional organizational team suspended all activities of the previous district BNP committee.
The current 6-member partial convening committee of the District Nationalist Party-BNP in Satkhira includes Rahmatullah Palash as convener, joint convener Abul Hasan Hadi, joint convener Tazkin Ahmed Chishti, joint convener Dr. Moniruzzaman, joint convener Md. Akhtarul Islam and member secretary Abu Zahid Dablu.
