Maruf Sarkar, Reporter: Local Chhatra Dal leaders and activists detained a Jubo League leader named Rajan while distributing Awami League leaflets and handed him over to the police.
Jubo League leader Rajan (35) was caught red-handed while distributing Awami League leaflets in the Kalshi area of Pallabi on Sunday morning. Pallabi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Nazrul Islam confirmed this information.
He said that a person named Rajan has been arrested. He has 7 cases against him.
The police and local people, including BNP, are on high alert around the Awami League program. The Awami League program includes five types of programs from February 1 to 18. There will be leaflet distribution from February 1 to 5; protest marches and rallies on February 6; demonstration marches and rallies on February 10; blockades on February 16, and a nationwide morning-evening strike on February 18.
