Ujirpur Barisal Correspondent: A protest march led by the Ujirpur Upazila and Municipal BNP affiliates of Barisal district, circled various roads of the upazila's municipal headquarters and held a protest meeting in front of the Ujirpur Upazila Parishad.
The protest march started from Ujirpur Bazar at 11 am on Sunday, February 2 and ended in front of the Upazila Parishad.
Upazila BNP senior joint convener Sardar Siddiqur Rahman and Ujirpur Municipality BNP convener Md. Shahidul Islam Khan spoke at the protest meeting.
Municipal BNP member secretary Roknuzzaman Tulu, municipal BNP joint convener Abdur Razzak Sardar, Hemayetuddin Khalifa, youth leader Shahadut Zjaman Comrade, municipal BNP member Anwar Hossain, municipal women's party president Shilpi Akhter, general secretary Shikha Akhter and others.
Speakers at the protest meeting said that the dictator Sheikh Hasina has planned a conspiracy to destroy the country from February 1 to February 18 to destabilize the country by committing genocide. This dictatorial Awami League will never again be given the opportunity to commit any kind of anarchy, terrorism, extortion, and occupation on the country's soil.
We will resist this evil force at any cost. The leaders said that in this time of fatigue, all leaders and activists must unite and resist the conspiracy of the Awami League.
