A discussion meeting was held at 11 am in the Upazila Mini Auditorium Hall Room, chaired by Charbhadrasan Upazila Executive Officer Monira Khatun.
The program on the 7th National Voters' Day was moderated by Upazila Election Officer Kazi Hekmat Ali.
Senior journalist Abdus Salam Molla, president of the upazila branch of Bangladesh Press Club Charbhadrasan, freedom fighter Abul Kalam Azad, upazila assistant education officer Jamal Hossain, general secretary of the upazila branch of Jamaat Islami Kausar Hossain, upazila agriculture officer Krishi Bid Mamur Rahman, and upazila executive officer Monira Khatun spoke at the program organized to mark the observance of the upazila National Voters Day.
Heads of departments of various ministries were present. The speakers said that in the amendment of the voter list, the upazila election officers in 4 categories A, B, G, G category, middle K, B, etc. also make amendments. G category district election officers and regional election officers also make amendments.
It has been seen that even though the District Election Officer and the Regional Election Officer of the Gough category have made corrections, the District Election Officer and the Regional Election Officer are still being harassed in the corrections even though all the documents and medical documents are correct. The victims are seeking the attention of the higher authorities to get rid of the harassment.
