Bilaichhari (Rangamati) Representative - "Yours is my Bangladesh, I will vote together" - National Voters' Day was celebrated in Bilaichhari, Rangamati with this theme in mind. On Sunday (March 02) at 11:00 am, a rally and discussion meeting were held on the occasion of the day organized by the Upazila Election Office, Bilaichhari.
The conference was presided over by Upazila Election Officer Alendra Lal Tripura, among others, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Surjit Dutta, Thana Officer-in-Charge Manas Barua, Upazila (Vice) Administrative Officer Sujan Barua, Journalist Asim Chakma, Public Representative Md. Omar Faruk, Upazila Ansar and VDP Trainer and Inspector Mallika Chakma, Sohel Chakma Operator Election Office and Topi Chakma and other employees were present.
It was learned in the meeting that 1,141 new voters have applied in Bilaichhari. There are a total of 24,137 voters in the upazila. Already, there are about 50 lakh 90 thousand new voters in the country. There are 12 crore 18 lakh 50 thousand 107 people across the country. Out of this, male voters are over 6 crore 21 lakh 44 thousand and female voters are over 5 crore 97 lakh 4 thousand. The government is working on this issue so that voters can vote in all the upcoming elections with peace of mind.
