National Voters' Day is celebrated for the seventh time in the country today, March 2, with the theme 'In your own Bangladesh, we will vote together'.
At 11 am, the program for National Voters Day 2025 was inaugurated by the release of pigeons and balloons in front of the Haripur Upazila Election Building by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Arifuzzaman. Present at the time were Upazila Election Officer Md. Abdul Mannan, Computer Operator Md. Rubel Hossain of the Haripur Election Office and all the employees. Then, a colorful rally was taken out from in front of the Election Building and the main roads were circumambulated.
A discussion meeting on Voters' Day was held at the Upazila Executive Officer's conference room at 11:30 am under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Arifuzzaman. Upazila BNP General Secretary Alhaj Md. Abu Taher was present as the chief guest at the discussion meeting.
