The Central Committee of Bangladesh Peace Party has witnessed that on 25/02/2025, Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman delivered a speech at Rawa Club on the occasion of 'National Martyr Army Day', saying, "I warn you, if you cannot forget your differences and work together, if you throw mud, fight and bicker, the independence and sovereignty of this country and nation will be endangered." In the wake of the speech, Chairman of the Peace Party, Adv. Syed Abdullah Shahid, in his discussion, supported the call by the Army Chief to forget your differences, stop throwing mud and fighting for the greater good of the country.
But along with that call, the Chairman of the Peace Party drew special attention to the words of the Army Chief, “The independent sovereignty of the country and the nation will be endangered.” The Chairman of the Party commented that it is unprofessional, inappropriate, unacceptable and unpopular for him to make a statement like “The independence and sovereignty of the country will be endangered” while holding an important position like the Army Chief. The Chairman of the Party said that this golden Bangladesh of 18 crore people is today an independent and sovereign state established in its own glory worldwide in knowledge, science, education, initiation and skills. This nation has achieved victory in all national disasters and needs in the past, including the great Liberation War of 1971, the July Revolution of the students and the people of 2024, through successful struggle. According to the Chairman of the Party, the people of Bangladesh are the bravest, well-disciplined, united and the best in the Pak-India-Bangla subcontinent. Therefore, it is impossible and impossible for any country in the outside world to endanger the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh. The party chairman also believes that if any country dares to endanger the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh, then according to the universal and infallible laws of history, that country will eventually be defeated, defeated, and even its independence and state integrity will be destroyed.
