A rally has been organized by the Islamic Foundation in Kishoreganj to welcome the holy month of Ramadan. The rally program called for preserving the sanctity of Ramadan as well as controlling the prices of daily necessities.
On Saturday morning, the rally started from the office of the Deputy Commissioner and circled the main roads of the district town before meeting at the Battala intersection for a short rally. The event was chaired by Mohammad Mohsin Khan, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation Kishoreganj District Office, and the chief guest was the District Jamaat Ameer Professor Md. Ramzan Ali. The speakers were Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan, Field Officer of the Ifa District Office, Sadar Supervisor Hafez Mao. AKM Mostofa Kamal, Publication Officer Abul Kalam Sarkar, Model Caretaker Hafez Mao Masum Billah, Caretaker Hafez Mao. Humayun Kabir Millati, Caretaker Mao. Sadequzzaman, Mao Abbas Ali, General Secretary of the District Branch of Bangladesh Teachers Welfare Council Hafez Mao Emrul Hasan, General Secretary of the Sadar Branch Mao. Md. Aminul Haque, among others.
Officials and employees of the Islamic Foundation's district office, Ifa teachers, and imams of various mosques were present at the time.
