Shahjahan Ali Manon, Saidpur (Nilphamari) Representative: The International Leadership Program on Education was held in Saidpur, Nilphamari, under the theme 'Embracing the Rhythms of Language and Culture for Global Citizenship and Leadership'.
The program was held at the Saidpur Cantonment Public School and College premises at 11 am on Friday (February 28) at the initiative of GEIST International Foundation.
Organized by the GIST Innovation and Leadership Center, the 5th round of this program in Rangpur Division held 3 events in 4 categories. 150 students from various educational institutions participated in it. The program included Olympiad and English poetry recitation for students from 3rd to 8th grade, and Olympiad and poster exhibition for students from 9th to 12th grade.
Present at the event were Khandaker Abdul Alim, Acting Principal and Vice Principal (College Branch) of Cantonment Public School and College, Md. Zakir Hossain, Rangpur Divisional Representative of GEIST International Foundation, Md. Russell, Lecturer of Cantonment Public School and College, and Md. Russell, Lecturer of the same institution, as the Adviser.
It is to be noted that the international round will be held in Bangkok, Thailand in the first week of May. The students selected from here will participate in that international round.
