Utfal Barua, Sylhet
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Rezaul Karim-PPM-Service said, serving the helpless and poor people of the society is a noble work. Those who come forward with the mentality of service bring positive changes in the society. Sylhet Society Mehman Khana's initiative 'Food for 10 Taka' is truly commendable. Such activities spread the message of humanity and reciprocity in the society. He further said, the police are friends of the people. We are working in the service of the people. The police are working relentlessly to maintain peace and order in the society and maintain law and order. However, it is not possible to build a beautiful society by enforcing the law alone. We need social awareness and mutual sympathy.
He made the above remarks as the chief guest at a discussion meeting, prayer meeting and lunch service for 500 people at the city's registry ground on Friday afternoon (February 28) to mark the 4th anniversary of the 10 Taka Anna project of Sylhet Society Mehman Khana, Sylhet's largest volunteer and humanitarian organization.

The leaders of the society are standing by the uprooted people with their labor and money, which deserves praise.
