Small screen star Mehjabeen Chowdhury tied the knot with producer Adnan Al Rajib on February 14 after a 13-year relationship.
Then, on the afternoon of February 24, the couple held a 'post-wedding reception' at a resort in Savar, near Dhaka.
Although the pictures of the ceremony were released, Mehjabeen did not bring up the pictures of the ceremony. On Friday (February 28), the actress shared the moment with her fans. She also said that she got married in her mother's wedding saree.
On her official Facebook page, Mehjabeen wrote, 'Our engagement took place on February 14, Valentine's Day. Adnan and I tied the knot in the presence of our family members and close friends.
"It was a special day in our lives, made even more meaningful by the presence of our loved ones."
The actress also wrote about wearing her mother's engagement saree on this special day, "My mother gifted me the saree she wore on her engagement day. Being able to wear it on my special day was the most beautiful gift I received from my mother."
Mehjabeen and Adnan's love was an open secret in the entertainment industry. The two were seen traveling together both in the country and abroad. Photos taken during the trip were exchanged and posted on Facebook.
They themselves have sometimes posted stills of romantic moments on their Instagram. After the stills of their strolling moments were published on Facebook, the rumors about the two started to grow. Even then, they were silent.
