We get to know many people in the course of life. Some come, some go. But many of them become so embedded in our lives that we cannot imagine our existence without them. And they are our school/college friends.
On the evening of Tuesday, February 25, a get-together and cultural evening was held at the traditional Heritage Restaurant in Sylhet, courtesy of SSC '91 Sylhet Divisional Friends.

Among the friends present at the event were London expatriate friends Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Mohammad Razi, Salim Siddique, Roman Ahmed Chowdhury, Tarek Ahmed Chanu, Atiq Khan, Dudu Mohammad, Utfal Barua, CID Ripon Kumar De, Mahbub Laskar, Nazmun Nahar Swapna, Dilruba Chowdhury, Advocate Abu Taher, Advocate Salman Ahmed, Advocate Tajul Islam, Moin Uddin (President Sylhet District Press Club), Shah Hannan, Nurul Amin, Salman Ahmed, Bidhu Bhushan Das, Mamun Ahmed, Ishtiaq Ahmed Suhel, Manohar Hussain Rajib, Kamruzzaman Murad, Lapaz Al Mahmud, Sarowar Hussain Selim, Bijit Kumar Acharya, Md. Mahtab Uddin, Simin Chowdhury, Masud Ahmed, Sibbir Ahmed, Kayes Ahmed, Abdul Jalil Salek, Abusaleh Md. Shawkatul Islam and Md. Faisal Ahmed, among others.
At one stage of the ceremony, commemorative mementos were presented to some of the '91 friends residing in the country and abroad for their significant contributions in specific fields.
At the end of the program, 91 friends performed music together, and the program ended with musical performances by renowned artists from Sylhet.
