Advisor Mahfuz Alam has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the interim government. Earlier, Nahid Islam submitted his resignation to Principal Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday afternoon. He was in charge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology. Md. Nahid Islam resigned from this post and Mahfuz Alam replaced him.
This information was revealed in a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday (February 26).
Nahid Islam submitted his resignation to Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday afternoon. He was in charge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
A new political party is set to debut on February 28. The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the National Citizens Committee are forming a new political party. This party will be led by Nahid Islam. That is why he has resigned from the post of advisor.
