The life of a 12th grade student of Sadarpur Government College was cut short by a storm in Sadarpur, Faridpur.
It is learned that college student Mafuz Matubbar (18) lost control of his easy bike in front of Sadarpur Women's College on the Tarail-Goaland regional road around 9 am on Wednesday and fell into a deep ditch on the side of the road. He was killed on the spot.
Two other passengers, Shahjahan Matubbar (42) and Faruk Sheikh (25), were injured in the incident.
The deceased was identified as Mafuz Matubbar, son of Farhad Matubbar of Kosha Bhanga village in Nasirabad Union of Bhanga Upazila.
The area has become heavy with the cries of the family and relatives who lost their only son.
Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. A. Motaleb Hossain confirmed the incident and said that the body of the deceased will be handed over to his family after the legal process is completed.
