Bhurungamari (Kurigram) Representative:
Saidur Rahman, the superintendent of Kamat Angaria Dakhil Madrasa, who was arrested for a criminal offense in Bhurungamari, Kurigram and is currently in jail, has been temporarily suspended.
The madrasa superintendent was dismissed on Tuesday (February 25) in a letter signed by Upazila Executive Officer Golam Ferdous.
The letter states that on 17th February 2025, Mr. Md. Safiar Rahman, Office Assistant, Kamat Angaria Dakhil Madrasa, Bhurungamari, Kurigram, Super Madrasa Super Saidur Rahman was arrested in the case of FIR No. 4/25 filed in the learned Judge's Court by Mr. Md. Safiar Rahman, Office Assistant, Kamat Angaria Dakhil Madrasa, Bhurungamari, Kurigram. Due to being handed over to jail for a criminal offense, he was temporarily suspended by the power of Memorandum No. 57.00.0000.040.33.003.22.1213 dated 20th August 2024 of the Technical and Madrasa Education Department, Administration and Establishment Branch, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka.
During the period of temporary suspension, Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, Senior Teacher, Kamat Angaria Dakhil Madrasa, Bhurungamari, Kurigram, was given the responsibility of Acting Superintendent.
Upazila Executive Officer Golam Ferdous confirmed the matter.
