Job Representative:
The two-day national career fair 'National Job Junction-2025' organized by Jagannath University Career Club (JNUCC) has begun. Three sessions on career topics were held on the first day of the two-day event.
The seminar was held on Tuesday (February 25) in Room 721 of the university's Shaheed Sajid Academic Building.
Jagannath University Treasurer Professor Dr. Sabina Sharmin was present as the chief guest at the event. Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Professor Dr. Manjur Murshed Bhuiyan and Proctor Professor Dr. Muhammad Tajammul Haque were present as special guests.
The seminar was also attended by the chief advisor of Job Career Club, Professor Dr. Md. Mohiuddin, the club's chief moderator, Assistant Professor Md. Shafiqul Islam, and moderator, Assistant Professor Md. Al Amin.
The first day of the event included a career seminar. A total of three sessions were held in the seminar. In the sessions, speakers discussed the career development of students, presenting their skills according to the needs of the industry, and establishing themselves in the job market.
Anwar Hossain, Head of Sales and Operations, IDP Bangladesh Limited, spoke in the session on 'Global Career Opportunities'; SK Alamgir Hossain, Assistant Professor, Finance Department, Jagannath University, was the speaker in the second session on 'Cracking Corporate Code'; Md. Jamil Rawshan, Talent Management Executive, Apex Footwear Limited, discussed the topic of 'CV Making' in the third session.
Incidentally, the second day of this fair will see students, fresh graduates and young professionals from various universities connecting with more than forty leading companies and getting access to over two hundred job and internship opportunities. The fair will run for two days (February 25 and 26) at the Jagannath University campus.
