The Nalchiti Upazila administration organized a briefing session on the National Defense Course (NDC) 2025 with the participation of high-ranking military officers from different countries in Nalchiti, Jhalakathi.
It provides them with various information about the management system, scope, and working methods of local government and upazila administration.
The briefing session was held at the Nalchiti Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Monday (February 25) at 10 am.
Additional Secretary of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Yasmin Parveen, Major General Moshfequr Rahman, Brigadier General Md. Anwarul Kabir, Commissioner Abul Bashar, Colonel Yusuf Ahmed Al Sufiani (Saudi), Brigadier General Iftekharul Mabdud, along with Major General, Brigadier General, Major, Captain ranks of the military were present.
Army, navy and air force officers from several countries, including the Saudi Army, Kuwait Army, Nigeria, Kenya, and others, participated in it.
At the event, Nalchiti Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nazrul Islam briefed the participants on various issues related to the upazila administration and local government and answered various questions.
Officials from various government departments of the upazila were also present. At the end of the hour-long briefing session, the Upazila Executive Officer presented gifts to the participating military officers on behalf of the upazila administration. Meanwhile, Major General Mushfiqur Rahman presented a commemorative plaque to the Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nazrul Islam on behalf of the Bangladesh National Defense College.
