Two men were lynched and hanged from a foot overbridge in Dhaka's Uttara on Tuesday night on charges of robbery. The injured two, Nazim (35) and Bakul (40), are undergoing treatment at Kuwait Friendship Hospital in a critical condition. Police said they were caught in an area of Uttara West police station, lynched on charges of robbery and later hung from a foot overbridge.
A video of the incident went viral on social media, showing a group of people beating the hanging men. Police said no one was arrested from the scene and the allegations could not be confirmed.
