Dhaka, 25 February 2025:
Former coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement are going to announce the establishment of a new student organization next Wednesday. The new organization will officially launch its journey at 3 pm at the Madhur Canteen of Dhaka University.
On Tuesday night, former coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement finalized various issues of the new organization in a meeting. Among the leaders of the new organization's central committee are:
- Convener: Abu Baker Majumder, former coordinator, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement
- Member Secretary: Zahid Ahsan, former Office Cell Secretary
- Chief Organizer: Tahmid Al Mudassir, former coordinator
- Spokesperson: Ashrafa Khatun, student of the Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka
In addition, among the leaders of the Dhaka University branch committee are:
- Convener: Abdul Quader, former coordinator
- Member Secretary: Mahir Alam
- Chief Organizer: Hasib Al Islam, former coordinator
- Spokesperson: Rafia Rehnuma Hridi
The new organization is committed to working for equality and social justice among students across the country, keeping in mind the ideals of the anti-discrimination student movement. It is expected to play a role of new force in society through its official announcement and march at the Madhur Canteen of Dhaka University.
