Kapasia (Gazipur) Representative:
A young woman named Sadia Afrin (20) committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Kapasia, Gazipur. Family members claim that she chose suicide out of mental depression after being rejected in love.
The incident took place at around 11 pm on Monday (February 24) at the house of Ashraful Alam in Belasi village of Rayed union of the upazila. The body of the girl has been sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Kamal Hossain, the officer-in-charge (OC) of the hospital, confirmed the incident and said that the body was recovered after receiving information. Later, after completing the legal process, the body was sent to the morgue for autopsy. Quoting relatives, he said that the young woman loved a boy. She broke down mentally after being disappointed and disappointed in love. She committed suicide by tying a veil around her neck with the ceiling of the house. The exact cause of death will be known after receiving the autopsy report.
