Satyajit Das (Moulvibazar Correspondent):
M Naser Rahman, the eldest son of BNP National Executive Committee member and former Finance and Planning Minister M Saifur Rahman, said, "How logical is it to engage in politics by forming a new party at the age of 26-28? At this age, they are supposed to build their own future, yet they are forming a party and giving committees! Will the people vote for them?"
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the Mostafapur Union BNP conference in Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila on Tuesday (February 25).
He further said, "When I entered politics, I was 40 years old. And now, even 26-year-olds are becoming party leaders, which is not seen anywhere in the world. Politics is a matter of experience, it is not a matter of luck."
The conference was presided over by Union BNP convener Azizul Alam Qureshi Mannu. District BNP convener committee members **Advocate Sunil Kumar Das, Md. Fakhrul Islam, Mujibur Rahman Majnu and others were present as special guests.
The conference was festive with the presence of grassroots leaders and activists. The conference was inaugurated by Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila BNP convener Md. Badrul Alam, and moderated by Maruf Ahmed.
