A rally of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has been held in Gazipur. The rally was organized by the Gazipur district BNP on Tuesday afternoon at Rajbari ground in Gazipur city. The speakers made various public demands at the rally, including keeping the price increase of daily necessities at a tolerable level, improving the deteriorating law and order situation, announcing a quick electoral roadmap, and confronting various conspiracies of the fallen fascism of the state. As part of the BNP's central program, the public meeting was presided over by Gazipur district BNP member secretary Chowdhury Ishraq Ahmed Siddiqui and Gazipur district BNP convener and former parliamentarian Fazlul Haque Milon.

BNP National Standing Committee member, former MP and minister Babu Gayeshwar Chandra Roy was present as the chief guest. At that time, he said, the hill Bengalis have been oppressed by the fascist dictatorial government. No one has been spared. At that time, he called on all leaders and activists to work for the implementation of the 31-point plan of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. He said, Tarique Zia is the symbol of the nation's aspirations. Therefore, we will all work together to take the country forward according to Tarique Zia's instructions.
In his speech as president, Fazlul Haque Milon called on the current interim government to focus on bringing the prices of essential commodities to a tolerable level and improving the law and order situation. He also demanded the announcement of a roadmap for early elections.
BNP Central Executive Committee Organizing Secretary Kazi Sayedul Alam Babul, Gazipur District BNP member Humayon Kabir Khan, Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam Bachchu, Mojibur Rahman, Omar Faruk Shafin, Shah Riazul Hannan and various leaders spoke at the rally. Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates from Gazipur district and upazila also joined the rally.
