The 2025 annual sports competition and award distribution ceremony was held at Mohanpur Public High School, a renowned educational institution in Gopalpur, Tangail.
The event was organized by Mohanpur Public High School on Monday (February 24) with various exhibitions and events on the school grounds.
The event was presided over by the school's headmaster Md. Tozammel Haque Tula and moderated by assistant teacher Manoranjan. Among the invited guests were Gopalpur Upazila Krishak Dal Senior Vice President Mokhlesur Rahman, Upazila Matsya Jibi Dal Secretary Nazim Talukder, Upazila Krishak Dal Vice President Abbas Talukder, Union Jamaat Joint Secretary Helal Uddin Makhon, Ghatail Sadar Union Jubo Dal's Md. Khalek Khan, Kh. A. Baset, Md. Mosharraf, Md. Sujat Ali Alam, student leader A. Kashem and others.
The school principal said in his speech, "Along with studies, sports as part of co-curricular activities have a positive impact on the body and mind of students. Sports play an important role in building a healthy body and creating a positive mind. Sports are also invaluable in eliminating the constant pressure and monotony of students' studies. Through sports, a student remains physically and mentally active, so we organize sports events every year to make them focus on academic activities."
