Students from various schools and colleges took out a protest march in Jhalokati to protest against rape, robbery and terrorism across the country. The students took out a protest march from in front of Jhalokati Government High School at 11 am on Monday. The protest march went through several streets of the city and reached in front of the Press Club.
Rayyan bin Kamal, Yasin Ferdous Ifti, and Maisha Mehzabin, among other students, spoke at the event.
The students demanded that the people accused of rape be tried within 47 hours. At the same time, they called for normalizing the law and order situation across the country and taking action against kidnapping and terrorist activities. Otherwise, the students also warned that the Home Affairs Advisor will be forced to resign.
