The 7th founding anniversary and 2nd council ceremony of the Bangladesh Tripura Workers' Union of Chittagong was held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Baluchara (Oxygen) Zaman Hotel Auditorium under the chairmanship of Machang Shri Paresh Tripura, President of the organization's Central Committee, and moderated by Machang Jutis Tripura, Member Secretary of the Conference Preparation Committee.
The program was inaugurated by Zubair Arfin, Director of Leaders School and College. The chief guests were Shri Deepak Kumar Palit, Advisor, Hindu Welfare Trust, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and Jisshu Krishna Rakshith, Joint Secretary, Bangladesh Human Rights Commission-Chittagong South District.
The special guests were Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Parishad-Chittagong District Co-Organizing Secretary Professor Shipul Kumar Dey, Machangti Dr. Deepa Tripura, Dighinala Pahar Library Founder Khaneshwar Tripura (Richard), Bangladesh Sramik Samhati Federation, Chittagong President Rupam Chowdhury, Chittagong Hill Services Blood Donor Group President Arun Joy Chakma, CHT Blood Donor Group Representative Himel Dewan. The conference preparation committee convener Machang Baten Tripura and others delivered the welcome address.
