Honorable member of the BNP Central Committee and District BNP General Secretary SA Jinnah Kabir sought prayers for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, the symbol of youth, during the 31-point campaign meeting to repair the Shivalaya Rashtra in Manikganj, as the chief guest.
He made this statement while addressing the public present at the 31-point campaign meeting organized by BNP at the grounds of Rupsha Ahed Ali High School in Ulail Union of the upazila on Saturday afternoon, February 22, as the chief guest, praying for the good health and recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and her eldest son, the symbol of youth, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and for the 31-point campaign meeting to repair the state structure.
On July 13, 2023, a 31-point campaign meeting and peace rally was organized to repair the state structure, presented to the nation by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Speaking at the 31-point campaign meeting to repair the state structure, SA Jinnah Kabir, the chief guest, said, "Our party's acting chairman, the future leader of the country, Tarique Rahman, has already issued a stern warning and said that BNP is a party of good people. There is no place for terrorists and extortionists in this party. To build BNP, we must maintain a connection with the people. Those who are not well-liked by the people will not have a place in BNP."
Therefore, BNP has no relationship with those who are involved in terrorism, extortion, and those who destroy people's peace.
Work for the people. Love the people. Only if you can earn the love of the people will you become a BNP leader. The defeated forces want to create a counter-revolution by creating chaos and anarchy in the country. A group is conspiring to tarnish the reputation of the BNP. We have to be vigilant about this.
Jinnah further said that the dictator Sheikh Hasina has shed the blood of the students and the public by indiscriminately firing police to stay in power. Even then, the dictator was not saved. He fled on the historic 5th of August. Along with him, his friends are hiding and hatching various conspiracies against the country. Therefore, the leaders and workers of all the affiliated organizations including BNP must be vigilant. And he called on the symbol of youth, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, to vote for the paddy in the next election and give him an opportunity to rebuild the country and serve the common people.
At the same time, he wished for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the good health and long life of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, a symbol of youth.
