On Saturday (February 22) midnight, the list of the 52-member convening committee of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University branch of the anti-discrimination student movement was published. This has sparked criticism on social media. According to the opponents, a group of people have formed the committee to take advantage of the deserving by excluding them. However, some of the names on the committee are resigning through Facebook posts citing personal reasons. In addition, many are making sarcastic comments, many of whom are now directly involved in various student political parties.

Regarding the resignation, most of the leaders said in their posts on social media, "I joined the July movement from my moral place. But I was not and still am not involved with the organization of the anti-discrimination student movement. I am not involved with any organization. I am not aware of the name that my name has been used in the committee given by the anti-discrimination student movement. I do not want my name to be used in any organization in the future. And I want to tell those on my campus who sent my name to the center without permission, you have committed a crime."
"I voluntarily withdrew my name from this committee."
After the committee was announced, the anti-discrimination student movement JakkanIB branch committee was declared dissolved in the face of fierce controversy and calls for resignation.
Incidentally, the Nazrul University branch committee against discrimination signed by Hasnat Abdullah, the central convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, and Arif Sohel, the member secretary, was announced on Saturday night. Mezbah Uddin Riyad, a student of the Department of Public Administration of the 2015-16 academic year, was appointed as the convener of the committee, and Raju Sheikh, a student of the Department of Law and Justice of the 2016-17 academic year, was appointed as the member secretary.
