Paikgachha Representative:
Kapilmuni Football Team defeated arch-rival Koira Football Sporting Team 3-0 in the Arafat Rahman Coco Memorial Football Tournament at Kagji Bari Ground in Laxmikhola village of Paikgachha in Khulna district to enter the final.
The match was held in the presence of a large audience on Friday afternoon. Kamrul Islam, jersey number 10 of Kapilmuni football team, was selected as the best player by scoring three goals. Khanjahan Ali Khanju was the assistant referee, Nayan and Nadir. Paikgachha Upazila Jubodal joint convener, Sholaana Businessmen Cooperative Society Ltd. Secretary and Press Club member secretary Aminul Islam Bazlu, Murshidur Rahman Kagoji, Nazrul Gazi and Arshad Kagoji were present as guests. The final match will be held at this ground next Friday. This tournament has been organized by Laxmi Khola Bandhu Mahal with the courtesy of Amirul Islam Kagoji, a prominent journalist and political analyst and Director (Program) of Ziaur Rahman Foundation.
