A day-long free blood group determination campaign was organized by the Jhalokati Government Degree College, Nalochiti, in memory of the great language martyrs in collaboration with “Seba Clinic and Diagnostic Center”. The free blood group determination campaign will be held from 10 am to 4 pm in front of the college gate on Friday (February 21).
Through this campaign, about 100 students underwent free blood group tests.
One of the students who underwent blood group tests in the campaign said, "We always support such a commendable initiative of conducting blood group tests under this campaign. I view this initiative taken by Chhatra Dal positively. I truly believe that student organizations should do such activities."
Rakib Gazi, convener of the college Chhatra Dal, the initiator of the campaign, said, "The main task of the student organization is to engage in student-friendly activities, and in continuation of the efforts to establish a new style of student politics in the new Bangladesh after the 1924 revolution, Nalchiti College Chhatra Dal has taken the initiative to determine blood group for free, and we have received a positive response from the students. About a hundred students have undergone blood group tests under our campaign, and we have all their blood group information stored with us. If any dying patient needs blood, we will contact them."
College Chhatra Dal member secretary Md. Himel, senior student leader Md. Rakib Ahmed, college Chhatra Dal leaders Md. Imran, Rabiul, Nayan and general students of the college extended their full cooperation in the day-long campaign.
