On the great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day, Chittagong South District BNP paid deep tribute to the language martyrs at the Central Shaheed Minar in Chittagong. Barrister Mir Md. Helal Uddin, Co-Organizing Secretary, Chittagong Division, Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, was present as the chief guest at the tribute ceremony along with the leaders and activists of South District BNP. Present were the convener of the newly formed committee of South District BNP, Alhaj Idris Mia, member secretary Lion Helal Uddin, former South District BNP vice-president and executive committee member Alhaj Syed Shahadat Ahmed, C: Joint convener Ali Abbas, Joint convener Mishkatul Islam Chowdhury Pappa.
Among others present were former joint secretary of South District BNP Alhaj Rezaul Karim Neshar Chairman, former commissioner of Patia Municipality Amir Hossain, journalist Md. Hasanur Zaman Babu, journalist Hannan Rahim Talukder, former student leader Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Krishak Dal leader, Abdul Karim, Rabiul Hossain Robi member Haji Deen Muhammad, Abu Sawdagar, Chhatra Dal leader Md. Habib, and leaders and activists of the party's constituent organizations.
